UCIF - Italian surface treatment equipment manufacturers' association - was fouded in 1973 by a group of companies and since the very beginning it became member of ANIMA - Federation of the italian associations of mechanical and engineering industries.

UCIF is an association of companies which represent the major part of the italian manufacturing industry in the field of coating machines and systems, coating application machines, shot-blasting, sand-blasting, industrialwashing, metal surface vibrofinishing and other system related to the surface treatment.

Most of the member compnies are certified according to ISO 9000 and all of them comply with the requirements provided by the international Manifacturing standards.

UCIF has also recently begun to produce and publish its own standards related to informations and behaviour, with the aim to help the market to evaluate in a deeper and more complete way the contents of the proposals and the attitude of the possible suppliers.
